Jill's family decided that since there were no more weddings to look forward to that we needed to start planning family reunions to get together. Last summer we rented a huge cabin in northern Minnesota where we could all stay.
Our little family found that it was cheapest to drive our car up. We drove the 18 hours over 2 days. When we got there we stayed with Grandma Phylis for a couple days. While we were there we went to the Como Zoo. I have lots of fond memories of that Zoo when I was growing up. It's amazing to see how much has changed and yet much is the same.
The night just prior to the reunion we drove up to Grandpa Bruce's cabin and spent the night there. It was a pretty drive and we enjoyed the night. Elijah slept on the way from the Grandpa's cabin to the reunion cabin like this.
We didn't take any pictures at the reunion except some group pictures. Here are some of the Rogers siblings.
Here is a picture of the whole family as of July 2012.
Here are all the grandkids.
Our little family had to get a shot of just us in the pretty scenery.
Elijah playing with my mascara and then with his silly upside down glasses.
Elijah at our hotel room on Kansas City on the way home. We drive home over 3 days so this was the first hotel. We really enjoyed seeing family and having the excuse to take a vacation. We're looking forward to the next reunion in 2015!
